Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst- Cloud Security (CNAPP / Wiz) Contract Length: 12-month contract Location: Charlotte, NC Job ref# 244890 Role Overview The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for managing, securing, and monitoring cloud environments to identify and remediate risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations. This role leverages Wiz CNAPP to analyze toxic combinations of risk, ensure compliance, and accelerate remediation across multi-cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities Wiz Operations Configure, maintain, and optimize Wiz CNAPP security policies, rules, and alerting Reduce alert noise while maintaining effective risk visibility Risk Analysis & Remediation Monitor and prioritize Wiz findings related to: Vulnerabilities Misconfigurations Identity and access risks Support and accelerate remediation efforts across cloud workloads Cloud & CI/CD Security Understand cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code Demonstrate familiarity with security stacks supporting: Code repositories CI/CD pipelines Container orchestration platforms Incident Response & Threat Hunting Investigate real-world cloud attacks Perform threat hunting within cloud environments Assist in the development and refinement of incident response playbooks Apply knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework to cloud workloads Collaboration & Compliance Partner with engineering teams to implement secure and compliant cloud configurations Align security controls with: NIST CIS Benchmarks Cloud-native security standards Tooling, Automation & Metrics Develop automated solutions, detection mechanisms, and custom scripts as needed Work with: CNAPP queries JSON-based data Create customized metrics and reporting to track: Risk trends Remediation progress Cloud security posture over time Cloud Platforms Supported AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
