Role: Jira Admin Location: Kansas City Type: Fulltime Jira Activities • Create & Configure projects, portlets • Enable & Manage plugins • User management & Role based control / Permission Schemes. • Security configuration within Jira. • Project, Component, Version Management • Configuration of Fields and screens • Configuring Workflows. • Project Configuration - Mapping, Imports, archive etc. • Integrations with CICD toolsets. • Trackback, Thumbnails, • Backup & Restore, Restoration drill • Indexing, Logging, DB management. • Backlog issue management. • Automation PowerScript / Script Runner Jira-Align Activities • Onboard team, Integrations. • Understand Up & down stream • Manage Time, Settings, SSO • Access control, Basic structure • Filed customization • Manage Team, Program Rooms, Boards, and collaboration. Service Desk Activities • Manage Queues, Reports, Projects, User profiles. • Setup Customer portals, SLA, Users, Request types • Work with and search for issues. • Integrations with other toolsets. • Simple customization. Confluence Activities • Space management. • Page and Blog management. • Macros management. • Management of Confluence data. • Site backup and restore. • Configure confluence & security. • Customization & Integration • Env. And Perf. management. SDLC Operations: Defect Triaging and resolutions within SLA norms for all SDLC tools Monitoring and proactive management of centralized shared tool services Deliver SLA and KPI reports Monitor platform availability Facilitate data loads User Creation/Deletion Automation development Jira Development Team Jira project Automation Plan view Integration Jira Project Migration Jira Data center production issues New feature implementation POC WBS and SA work for Finance - WBS creation process enabling finance to save hundreds of hours on manually orchestrated tasks ESD task: configuration changes requests for PACT ESD migrated projects, preliminary work items review for JSM to JSW migration Involved in ESD Data migration and Deployment. JIRA Service Desk support and configuration Migration to old JIRA instances to PACT JIRA, incorporating both JIRA Service Desk and Software Project. It was a large instance, and the migration was time-sensitive due to the impending expiration of the ESD JIRA license. Explored multiple tools for the migration, but none worked effectively. Therefore, we designed our own solution and began the migration process. While the JIRA Software Project had 100% automated migration, the JIRA Service Desk required a hybrid approach-partially automated and partially manual-because it was technically impossible to automatically migrate some configurations and designs.
