This will be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.Principle Responsibilities Calibration of measuring instruments - Verify and adjust measuring tools to ensure accurate results. Assist in development of measurement procedures - Create methods for measuring things accurately and reliably. Maintenance of measuring equipment - Repair and maintain measuring tools to keep them working properly. Training and technical support - Teach others how to use measurement tools and help them with problems. Technology watch - Keep abreast of new measurement technologies. Collaboration with other departments - Work with other teams to ensure that products and processes meet quality standards. Assist with GR&R / MSA studies. Qualification RequirementsCredentials/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Experience/Educational/Training Preferred: ASQ Certification preferred 2 years' experience in quality within medical device manufacturing industry preferred ISO 13485, FDA 820 and customer interaction experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of measurement principles. Metrology tools and software. Manufacturing operations - forging and/or machining. Quality Systems. Regulations - FDA, GMP and ISO. Blueprint reading. Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
