Locations: Flemington, NJ Additional Locations: n/a Work Site: On Site Req ID: 221621 Position Overview Want to spend your summer in the great outdoors, learning all about the diverse services that Davey Resource Group offers? We are seeking talented environmental science students to join our Flemington, NJ team for summer 2026. Interns will have the opportunity to work hands-on with DRG's staff and learn from their expertise in the environmental consulting industry. Interns will have the opportunity to work on varied environmental science projects including wetland and stream surveys, wildlife and vegetation monitoring, and environmental compliance. Duties may include invasive plant control, vegetation monitoring/transplanting, wildlife and plant surveys, ecological community mapping, and wetland/stream delineation. Not only will you gain hands-on experience with our field staff, but interns will also participate in educational sessions to learn about services across our various offices and disciplines, and will receive training related to plant identification, land navigation, and wetland delineation. Applicants should be interested in and understand wetland ecology and possess a strong work ethic with the desire to gain experience in different aspects of environmental consulting. This internship involves a large amount of outdoor work with rigorous physical labor and may occasionally involve working long hours as well as interstate travel.
