Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Basking Ridge, NJ. You will lead the migration of legacy NOI components into Cloud Pak and ensure accurate event mapping and synchronization. Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include: Integrate and migrate legacy IBM Netcool/OMNIbus and Netcool/Impact environments into IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps. Configure event ingestion, mapping, and transformation rules to ensure accurate, bidirectional synchronization between onprem Netcool systems and Cloud Pak. Migrate event filters, automations, runbook policies, and impact configurations into the AIOps platform. Develop automation workflows and runbooks using Netcool/Impact and scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Support AIOps ML model accuracy by validating event, log, and metric data for grouping, anomaly detection, and changerisk insights. Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to integrate thirdparty tools (e.g., Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack) and troubleshoot complex hybridcloud operational issues. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 5-8 years of experience working with IBM Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool/Impact, and enterprise monitoring solutions, including handson Cloud Pak for AIOps integration. Deep expertise in IBM Netcool suite components (OMNIbus, Impact, probes, gateways, WebGUI) and strong experience migrating environments into Cloud Pak for AIOps. Demonstrated ability to configure event transformation rules, develop automation policies, and integrate thirdparty tools (e.g., Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack) within hybridcloud environments.
