Sanitation Technician, Night Shift

With our passion, creativity, and innovation, "We capture what moves". We have an immediate opportunity to hire a Night Shift Sanitation Technician for our Lebanon, Ohio facility. The Sanitation Technician is generally responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the capsule production areas. Interacts with all internal Departments and external Contractors, Vendors, Auditors, and Customers. Key competencies: Analytical Skills, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Time Management and Self-Motivation Skills, and Mathematical and Computer Skills. Shift hours are 5pm to 5:30am on the 2-2-3 scheduleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain cleanliness throughout all hallways and stairs at the production level. Clean and sanitize drains in the production areas Manage master sanitation lists outside of the production rooms. This includes washrooms, hallways, and pre-weighing rooms. Clean overhead piping using a scissor lift. Stock soap and sanitizer in each of the production areas Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, including buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. Support and enforce all policies, MANE and governmental, such as OSHA, EPA, and GMP rules, and health and safety regulations and guidelines, etc. Other duties as assigned by management. Where these objectives are relevant to job-related and job-specific roles and responsibilities, each employee shall adhere to applicable environmental policies and procedures, as well as act on best practices. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 1 year of custodial experience with industrial or construction backgrounds preferred. Flavor industry desired.
