Job Title: Travel RN - Med-Surg / C6 Short Stay Facility Location: Main Campus, 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 Shift: Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Contract Length: 13 Weeks Unit Overview C6 Short Stay Unit (23-hour unit) Cares for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to: ENT Thoracic Neurosurgery Orthopedics GYN & GYN Oncology Urology General Surgery Requested Skill Set Cortrak management IV insertion Phlebotomy Vocera use Telemetry Traction Ostomy care Procedures Performed on Unit Assist with chest tube insertion Central lines Wound VAC changes NG tubes Cortrak Catheterization & indwelling catheters Certifications Required BLS
