SQL Server / DB Developer (W2)

Role: SQL Server / DB Developer Location: Texas (Remote) Duration: Long Term Terms: W2 JD: CLIENT NOTE: We are looking for a database developer, someone experienced in writing stored procedures and SSIS package creation. Experience and Education 4- 7 yrs Experience in SQL Server database development including stored procedures, table, column, and index creation. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field is generally preferred. Education and experience may be substituted for one another. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Develop high-quality database solutions. Knowledge of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses. Experience in writing Stored Procedures, T-SQL and query tuning on high transaction systems. Experience to maintain database indexes, columns and tables using DDL, DML and DCL constructs. Experience in using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load). Experience data access drivers and JDBC/ODBC configuration. Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables. Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements. Develop procedures and scripts for data migration. Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
