Description Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups, employing standardized assessments and observational analysis. Create tailored treatment plans designed to meet immediate goals as well as develop long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing capabilities. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functionalities. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, patient families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care strategies. Provide educational resources to patients and their families, promoting continuous progress beyond the clinical setting. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations to maintain continuity of therapy and treatment plans. Keep meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with various guidelines to ensure all records are maintained appropriately. Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with peers to stay at the forefront of advancements in speech-language pathology. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
