Job Description Job Title: Refrigeration Repair Technician Location: San Leandro, CA- Various Bay Area locations Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Operations Manager / Service Manager Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Repair Technician to join our service team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, deli cases, and merchandisers. The ideal candidate will also have experience leading small teams and will be a strong cultural fit, collaborative, dependable, and motivated. Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial refrigeration systems • Service refrigeration components for walk-in coolers, freezers, large scale refrigeration equipment, deli coolers, ice machines, and merchandisers • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed • Help manage small crews on job sites, ensuring quality and safety standards • Accurately document service work and communicate with dispatch and customers • Maintain inventory and proper care of tools and company equipment • Represent the company professionally with clients and internal teams Requirements Qualifications: • 3-5+ years of hands-on refrigeration service and repair experience • Universal EPA Certification required • Valid driver's license with clean driving record • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • Mentor and train junior technicians • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Preferred Experience: • Familiarity with servicing fuel stations or convenience store refrigeration systems
