Description DEFINITION: The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of positions. This role is responsible for reviewing applications and resumes, conducting first-round interviews, partnering with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, and ensuring a smooth, compliant, and positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources required. Experience conducting interviews and managing onboarding processes preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Strong skills in interviewing and evaluating candidates. Commitment to providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements. High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with HRIS platforms and onboarding systems. An expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible and held accountable for the following duties: Review applications and resumes to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with role requirements. Conduct first-round interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, alignment with role requirements, and fit with agency culture and values. Evaluate candidates using consistent screening criteria and provide recommendations to hiring managers. Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, team needs, and expectations. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Prepare and extend employment offers in accordance with company guidelines. Conduct employment and reference verifications, coordinate pre-employment screenings, and collect required onboarding materials. Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Oversee the full onboarding process, including preparation of materials and coordination of new hire orientation. Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment regulations. Track and report recruitment metrics to inform process improvements. Support internship programs, job fairs, and other recruitment events as needed. Understands and promotes our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) concept by providing or supporting community-based mental and substance use disorder services; advancing integration of behavioral health with physical health care; assimilating and utilizing evidence-based practices on a more consistent basis; and promoting improved access to high quality care. This job does require the selected candidate to possess a current and valid driver's license, to have a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Employee must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested. Meet or exceed "satisfactory" expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation. Regular and predictable attendance is essential and expected for this position. Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations. In addition, must possess skill in working cooperatively and effectively with clients, staff, management, and other professional groups; in exercising mature judgment in dealing with people; in presenting ideas clearly and accurately; in reading and comprehending the English language; and in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
