We pride ourselves on assisting our clients to find and place the best candidates. Currently, we are recruiting Registered Dieticians for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in California. What you will be doing: Assist and advise clinical personnel on special nutritional needs. Plan dietary interventions, monitor and document nutritional needs, and provide medical nutrition therapy. Conduct nutrition assessments within 72 hours of a physician's order. Provide nutritional counseling and follow-up consultations for patient/youth as needed. Interpret prescription diets and establish menus and therapeutic diets. Train institutional food service staff in medical diet preparation and compliance. Suggest alternative food products and substitutions as needed. Ensure inpatient dietary menus are current and compliant with policies and procedures. What you must have: At least 1 year of experience within the last three (3) years Driver's License or Passport Identification. Possess and maintain a current and valid registration issued by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to practice in California. BLS (American Heart Association only) Other Information: Benefits Full-Time schedules available Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts, No weekend work!
