Senior Quality Engineer

Interview: Virtual Visa: Any except h1b Onsite: Worceste, MA JD: Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support its web development and digital automation initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned QA professional with a strong background in eCommerce platforms, test automation, and modern development frameworks. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital products through robust testing strategies and automation. Responsibilities Lead and execute quality assurance efforts across web and eCommerce development projects. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Karate Framework, and Cucumber (experience with at least two of these is required). Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless API testing and validation. Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in quality engineering. Qualifications Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in web development and eCommerce environments. Strong automation expertise, particularly in Selenium WebDriver, Karate Framework, and/or Cucumber. Proficiency in Java for test development and scripting. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and API integration testing. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated executive presence and confidence in presenting quality metrics and insights to leadership.
