Job DescriptionFull-Time Med-Surg RN Charge Nurse - Ozark, AL Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with leadership skills looking for the next step in your career? Job Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical unit during assigned shifts Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care Assist in admissions, discharges, and direct patient care as needed Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling needs, and ensure smooth operations Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes Requirements: Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Why Live and Work in Ozark, AL?
