Twin City Staffing is hiring a lathe machinist supervisor to join a growing machining company in Blaine! This hands-on leadership role oversees daily operations in the lathe/turning department, including scheduling, mentoring machinists, and ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards. Location: Blaine, MN Wage: $35 - $40/hr., depending on experience Hours: 5:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Thursday Benefits of the lathe machinist supervisor: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Duties of the lathe machinist supervisor: Supervise and support machinists with setups, programming, and production Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency Set up and operate CNC lathes/turning centers (Doosan, DMG Mori) Create and edit programs using GibbsCAM or MasterCAM Perform first-piece inspections and ensure dimensional accuracy Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and programming issues Coordinate workflow, prioritize jobs, and meet production deadlines Maintain setup, tooling, and process documentation Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications of the lathe machinist supervisor: 5+ years of CNC lathe/turning experience, including setup and programming Experience using CAM software such as GibbsCAM or MasterCAM Skilled in live tooling, twin-turret, and twin-spindle operations Leadership experience in a machining or manufacturing environment Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T Additional Information: Apply today or contact Nancy at 763-571-7077 to learn more about this lathe machinist supervisor opportunity!
