Shift Leader - Part Time at PITA AND GRILL LLC

Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill in Columbus, OH is looking for one shift leader - part time to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 5450 Westpointe Plaza Drive. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. Benefits $17-$20/hour base pay (based on experience) Tips averaging $5-6/hour Free meals during shifts Employee discount when dining off-shift Flexible scheduling Bi- Weekly pay Opportunities for advancement to assistant manager or kitchen manager Potential transfer to new Powell location opening June 2026 Responsibilities Supervise and train team members during shifts Assign stations and manage break schedules Handle opening and closing procedures Ensure food quality, portion consistency, and safety standards Manage cash drawer and end-of-shift reconciliation Address customer concerns and complaints professionally Monitor inventory and coordinate food prep needs Maintain cleanliness standards in dining and kitchen areas Report maintenance issues or equipment problems to management Document shift issues, incidents, or policy violations Qualifications 18+ years old 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment PREFERRED: Fast casual restaurant experience. Knowledge of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine. Familiarity with Mediterranean ingredients (hummus, falafel, shawarma, pita, etc.). Experience with POS systems.
