Home Health Aide PCA Caregiver

About the Role The Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides compassionate, hands-on support to clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and safety, and support clients' independence while following an individualized care plan. Home Health Aides or Personal Care Aides are also welcome to apply. If you are dependable, caring, and looking for meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you. Primary Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care and hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting) Support activities of daily living (ADLs), including meals, feeding, mobility, turning, and positioning Promote comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients Follow standard safety and infection-control precautions Provide companionship and respite support for families Document care provided accurately and submit records on time Protect client confidentiality and follow all agency policies Work collaboratively with families and the care team Perform other duties as assigned Human Relations & Professionalism Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive attitude Communicate clearly and courteously with clients, families, and staff Demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and commitment to quality care Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation) QualificationsEducation High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Experience Minimum of 1 year of related client care experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with Hoyer lifts and incontinence care is required.
