Blue Ridge Community College's Office of Admissions & Outreach is seeking a Welcome Center Associate to... Support prospective students throughout the admissions and onboarding process by phone, email, in person, and via Zoom. Assist current students with scheduling advising appointments and navigating course registration through the same communication channels. Greet visitors and directing them to the appropriate resource or office. Evening and weekend recruitment events may be required on occasion. This is a part-time wage position, limited to 1500 hours within a 12-month period, with no benefits. There is potential eligibility for educational assistance for BRCC classes and job-related training and/or certifications. Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
