Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently assemble/test mechanical pumps to meet customer requirements in an AS9100 manufacturing environment. Work with mechanical components, single hydraulic systems, and multiple part numbers in a test room environment requiring PPE. Perform moderate to complex assembly/test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, and inspection measurement equipment. Identify malfunctions disclosed by test data and rework as instructed. Perform routine preventative maintenance on test equipment. Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives. Perform lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, and/or final detailing functions as needed. Participate in lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Observe all safety rules, 5S practices, and maintain a FOD-free work area. Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule. Assist in training less experienced team members. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude. Two or more years of industry-related experience in assembly/testing in a manufacturing environment. Preferred aerospace/automotive mechanic or manufacturing experience. Demonstrated product and process knowledge. Strong mechanical reasoning skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic mathematical skills and effective verbal, written, and computer skills. Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
