CNC Programmer – Sarasota, FL(For quicker response, email resume directly to: jburchett @aerotek.com )Location: Sarasota, FloridaJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Manufacturing / Precision MachiningPosition OverviewWe're seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support a growing manufacturing operation specializing in precision‑machined components. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex machining challenges, optimizing production processes, and working with advanced CNC equipment. You’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and improving CNC programs to ensure efficient, accurate, and high‑quality output.ScheduleThis position offers two standard schedule options: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM OR Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other machining centers Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials Set up and test programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production staff to improve workflow Maintain documentation for programs, setups, and process improvements Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of G‑code and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Hands‑on experience with CNC machine setup and operation Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Familiarity with machining various metals and materials Preferred Skills Experience with multi‑axis machining Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices Ability to recommend tooling and process improvements What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full‑time, stable schedule A supportive environment focused on quality and continuous improvement Opportunities for skill development and advancement Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
