Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Urbana, IL 61801 (Illinois nursing jobs) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Unit: Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks (starting January 5, 2026) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days or Nights) Open Availability: Required for scheduling flexibility Estimated Weekly Salary: $20 Registered Nurse Qualifications Graduate from an accredited college, university, or nursing program with a degree/diploma in nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois At least 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred Valid driver's license Current ICE Clearance (required) ICE Clearance Screening Form must be submitted with application RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive acute care nursing services, including executing provider orders and administering medications Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments Attend sick calls, prepare examining rooms, and maintain medical equipment Dispense medications and document per healthcare policy Assess new patients with illnesses or injuries and refer as needed Perform emergency procedures and coordinate medical services Supervise and guide nursing and non-licensed medical staff Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records Monitor inpatient hospitalizations and pharmacy utilization Provide health counseling and patient education Prepare and maintain records, reports, and logs Participate in safety, accident, and incident reporting Escort and coordinate movement of patients for medical treatment Perform searches and security checks as required Respond to emergencies and perform rescue functions Apply now to join our healthcare team and start your travel nursing career in Urbana, Illinois!
