Ford C Level Service Technician

Location: Ability to commute to 1479 Genesee St, Oneida, NY 13421 (Required) Pay: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience About the Role Nye Ford is seeking a reliable and skilled C Level Service Technician to join our growing service department. This role is ideal for a technician with solid hands-on experience in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance who is ready to continue building their career in a dealership environment. A New York State Inspector License is highly preferred. You'll work alongside an experienced team in a well-equipped shop, handling a mix of maintenance, inspections, and repair work while continuing to grow through training and mentorship. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns accurately and efficiently Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and fluid checks Inspect and service vehicle systems such as engines, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components Conduct NY State vehicle inspections and document results properly Complete thorough multi-point inspections and record findings on repair orders Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety Recommend additional services when needed in a professional, customer-focused manner Follow manufacturer guidelines, dealership standards, and safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Stay current with Ford training, tools, and technical updates Support team workflow by collaborating with service advisors and fellow technicians Qualifications Ability to commute to 1479 Genesee St, Oneida, NY 13421 (required) High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record NY State Inspector License required Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience (dealership or Ford experience preferred) Working knowledge of engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems Experience using diagnostic scanners and repair software Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills ASE or Ford certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain Pay & Benefits $25-$30 per hour, based on experience Full-time position with flexible scheduling Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation and paid time off Birthday holiday Employee vehicle purchase program Paid training and career advancement opportunities Top Tech+ registered dealer Free uniforms Modern service bays with updated equipment Long-term job stability in a supportive dealership environment About Nye Ford Nye Ford has proudly served Oneida, NY, and the surrounding communities with honesty, quality service, and a family-first approach.
