Job Title: Functional Tester (Manual) - Insurance BillingLocation: Bloomington, IL (Onsite)Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manual Functional Tester with strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Billing and Payments systems, including Majesco Billing and other insurance billing platforms. The role requires hands-on functional testing, integration testing, and the ability to lead QA initiatives for billing system implementations and enhancements. Key Responsibilities: Domain & Functional Testing Perform manual functional testing within P&C and Life Insurance domains. Validate billing and payment systems including invoicing, collections, commissions, refunds, adjustments, and payment processing. Ensure business rules, configurations, and rating logic are accurately implemented. Conduct end-to-end validation across billing touchpoints. Integration Testing Execute integration testing across: Billing & Payments platforms CRM systems Digital applications Third-party vendor billing systems Life Insurance systems Validate upstream and downstream system data flow and reconciliation. Test Planning & Execution Prepare and maintain: Test Strategy Test Plan Test Scenarios & Test Cases Test Execution Plan Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing. Log, track, and manage defects; perform root cause analysis. Provide QA status reports, risk metrics, and progress updates. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Act as QA Lead for billing system initiatives when required. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, vendors, and CRM/digital teams. Manage escalations, risks, and cross-functional coordination. Drive test reviews, defect triage calls, and sign-off processes. Required Qualifications: 7-12 years of experience in Manual Functional Testing. Strong domain knowledge in P&C and/or Life Insurance. Experience with Majesco Billing or other insurance billing systems. Hands-on experience in billing/payment application testing. Strong understanding of billing configurations and business rules. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading QA efforts for billing implementations. Familiarity with CRM and digital platform integrations. Exposure to insurance policy administration systems.
