Education: Required- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field. Master's preferred. Experience: Required - 7 + years' experience managing large scale, multi-jurisdiction service areas, social services programs, non-profit organizations or civic organizations. Strong grant writing background experience preferred. Preferred - Prior leadership role within a Health and Human Services program, Social Services Program, or Victim Advocacy Program. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Strategy and Operations is a senior executive leader responsible for aligning long-term strategy with disciplined operational execution. This role ensures that the organization's vision is translated into measurable growth, sustainable revenue, high-quality service delivery, and strong internal infrastructure. Working closely with the President and executive team, this leader drives enterprise planning, oversees multi-region operations, strengthens government and external partnerships, and ensures that systems, people, and performance are aligned to achieve mission impact. Critical Action Items: 1. Oversee daily administrative activities through leadership and management to ensure that services are provided in an effective manner while maintaining defined levels of quality that reflect the organization's mission and core values. 2. Responsible for service line strategic planning and business growth and development. 3. Identify stakeholder engagement strategies, new service offerings, technology advances, and other opportunities to drive differentiation and support the growth agenda. 4. Translate enterprise strategy into actionable operational plans with clear KPIs, timelines, and accountability structures. 5. Develop, implement, and hold accountable the execution and compliance of agency protocols and procedures to ensure continuity of operations. 6. Enforce agency policies and procedures to ensure consistent organization-wide application. 7. Promote effective communication between executive leadership, departments, and regions, aiming to eliminate communication barriers, ensure timely responsiveness, and facilitate prompt decision making. 8. Motivate and lead administrative management to develop and implement plans for efficient operational systems. 9. Act as liaison and monitor organizational compliance with state and federal contract requirements and accreditation standards. 10. Meet with senior leadership to develop program budgets, as needed, review monthly financial reports, & assist in the formation of financial action plans to ensure budget compliance. Measurable Deliverables: 1. Expand service footprint, partnerships, or funding streams in alignment with strategic growth goals. 2. Monitor and track deliverables and performance requirements to ensure 100% compliance grant/contract compliance. 3. Ensure quality of services through routine and random audits, via monthly site visits, staff engagement, beneficiary surveys and records review. 4. Provide President with weekly updates on current organization climate, agency vacancies, personnel concerns, grant non-compliances, and mission critical incidents and exposure. 5. Submit timely and accurate reports, proposals, briefings, and presentations, responses on institutional and strategic issues. 6. Evaluates programs and projects quarterly - identifies gaps and areas for increasing efficiency in processes and procedures, reporting and outcomes Requirements: 1. Assess and enhance internal systems, policies, and procedures to optimize operational performance, while also creating and executing plans for the organization's operational infrastructure. 2. Understanding of state and federal grant requirements, familiar with compliance actions related to awarded grants and contract. 3. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. 4. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. 5. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks, as required. 6. Demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office apps: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 7. Demonstrate the ability to: a. Respond sensitively and competently to the needs of diverse internal and external contacts. b. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals. c. Maintain excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to include the ability to be resourceful and think quickly on your feet. d. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. e. Master time management and ability to prioritize. 8. Maintain professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in personnel handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and always complying with required dress code. 9. Demonstrate a working knowledge of agency policies and procedures. 10. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of program operations. 11. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor. 12. Strict adherence to time frames, policy, and procedure. 13. Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 14. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 15.
