This role supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders in an outpatient setting.The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients safely return to active lifestyles through evidence-based treatment, education, and hands-on care.Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities: Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, manual techniques, and modality treatments as prescribed Treat patients with a variety of outpatient orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including post-surgical and injury recovery Monitor patient progress and response to treatment; communicate observations and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and proper body mechanics to support recovery and long-term outcomes Document treatments, progress notes, and patient interactions accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to ensure excellent patient experience and outcomes Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support) PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Or PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Temporary and licensure within 6 months Required Associate's Physical Therapy Preferred 1 year Physical Therapy Assistant Preferred: Outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation experience Experience working with active or athletic populations Manual therapy experience Facility:BayCare Health System, Sports Medicine-MCHLocation: Mease Countryside - Safety Harbor, FLStatus: Full Time, Exempt: NoShift Hours: varies 8-hour shifts/DaysWeekend Work: OccasionalOn Call: NoHow often will this team member be working remotely?
