Senior Contract Specialist- Secret

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contract Specialist to join a Federal Program located in Arlington, VA though a hybrid work model, onsite one day per week. The Contracts Specialist will analyze cost, contract negotiations/modifications, and procurement policies of DoD Research and Development contracts. Responsibilities of the Contract Specialist: Assisting in the negotiation on contracts Analyzing proposed costs and prices Preparing required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations Analyzing procurement policies and procedures Qualifications of the Contract Specialist: 5-8 years of experience as a Contract Officer FAR and DFAR Experience Experience with PD2 Experience in government or commercial procurement Bachelor's Degree Required Active Secret Security Clearance Required Compensation for the Contract Specialist: Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000flexible based on experience Full Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc. Sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on [Insert Posting Date].
