Facility Maintenance Comfort Inn & Suites - Sturbridge, MAFull-Time / Part-Time | 30-40 Hours Per WeekPosition Overview Comfort Inn & Suites in Sturbridge is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facility Maintenance team member to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel property. This role is essential to ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and building systems remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This is a year-round position offering 30-40 hours per week based on hotel occupancy and operational needs. Responsibilities Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs throughout the property Complete minor electrical work including replacing switches, outlets, lighting, and fixtures Perform plumbing repairs including toilets, sinks, drains, supply lines, and fixtures Complete drywall, sheetrock, and painting repairs as needed Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues and perform preventative maintenance tasks Assist with pool and spa maintenance and equipment monitoring Replace light bulbs and maintain lighting in guest rooms and common areas Repair flooring, ceilings, walls, doors, and hardware Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and management Assist with exterior maintenance, including snow removal when necessary Identify maintenance concerns and report preventative maintenance needs Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards Qualifications Previous facility maintenance, hotel maintenance, or building maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use ladders Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented Weekend availability as needed Schedule 30-40 hours per week Flexible schedule based on hotel needs Year-round employment
