Position DescriptionBasic Function:Responsible for managing and assembling tooling projects, ensuring components meet specifications and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Participate in Pre-Build meetings to plan efficient manufacturing processes Assemble tooling and verify machined components meet specifications Machine components using standard processes to required tolerances Manage assigned tooling projects to meet customer quality and delivery expectations Principle Duties: Assemble components into completed tooling Set up and operate tools to manufacture components Train and mentor apprentices Education & Experience: Skills: Advanced math, basic computer skills, ability to read technical drawings, strong communication Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a state-indentured Tool & Die apprenticeship OR 6+ years as a non-indentured Tool & Die Maker Experience: 3-5 years building progressive tooling (metal stamping preferred) Certification: Journeyman Card in Tool & Die Type: Full-time
