Physician Assistant (PA) - Orthopedic Surgery (Operating Room Only) Location: Danbury, Connecticut Job Type: Full-Time A well-established orthopedic surgical team in Danbury, CT is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our practice in a 100% operating room-based role. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys the surgical environment and wants to focus exclusively on intraoperative patient care alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons. Position Highlights Operating Room Only - No clinic responsibilities First assist in a variety of orthopedic procedures Work closely with a collaborative, highly skilled surgical team Consistent full-time schedule supporting strong work-life balance Responsibilities First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures Pre-operative patient preparation and positioning Intraoperative surgical support including suturing, wound closure, and instrumentation Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiology, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Post-operative documentation and surgical coordination as needed • Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certified Active or eligible for Connecticut PA license Prior orthopedic or surgical experience preferred (new grads with strong surgical rotations may be considered) Strong teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced OR setting Compensation & Benefits Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year (commensurate with experience) Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Malpractice coverage
