Diesel Technician/ Diesel Mechanic

Currently hiring for a Diesel Technician / Deisel Mechanic who knows their way around engines, hydraulics, and has had some welding experience. We are looking to grow our team in our new facility located in Independence, OH! Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Pay: $28/hr. -$30/hr. Depending on experience. Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; Monday - Friday Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Qualifications : Must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing heavy equipment or equivalent. Must have at least 2 years of Hydraulic repair experience. Must have at least 2 years MIG W elding experience. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve complex issues . Valid driver's license and the ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment . Must have a personal set of hand tools to bring to your first day. Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities: Diagnose , troubleshoot, and repair electrical and hydraulic systems. Examples of equipment include Street Sweepers, Cleaners, Hydro Excavation, Grapple Trucks, Plows, and other specialized machinery. Perform scheduled maintenance, safety inspections, and preventive care on equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Conduct thorough inspections and document all repair and maintenance activities. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the timely delivery of equipment to clients.
