This unit operates as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level II Trauma Center, treating complex neuro/TBI/stroke/spinal cord injuries, post-surgical cases, trauma, and medical critical care patients. The Supervisor will support the Nurse Manager in ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient operations, and staff development. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Supervise and coordinate daily SICU operations to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Oversee compliance with safety, regulatory, and professional standards. Assist in staff training, development, and performance evaluations. Ensure efficient resource utilization and cost-effective patient care. Maintain a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced critical care environment. Adhere to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice. Candidate requirements Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Current California Registered Nurse License (upon hire) National Provider BLS Certification - American Heart Association (upon hire) Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience Two (2) years of recent clinical experience in a specialty area Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing Leadership experience Why work with us?
