Key Responsibilities As part of a small, highly skilled team, you will enhance and modernize cloud architectures supporting vital operations: Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications in containerized environments Build and manage systems with Docker and Kubernetes Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery Develop and optimize ETL pipelines for efficient data processing Configure and maintain message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, etc.) Automate infrastructure management with Python scripting Monitor performance, improve reliability, and drive efficiency Collaborate on best practices for deployment and infrastructure Promote clarity and maintainability through clean design and lightweight documentation Technical Expertise Skilled in multiple programming languages; Python preferred Familiar with Python data science libraries (NumPy, pandas, SciPy) Experience developing RESTful microservices (FastAPI, Spring Boot) Refactored legacy systems into containerized/microservice architectures Strong understanding of scaling strategies (vertical/horizontal) Built and maintained ETL pipelines; worked with RabbitMQ or similar brokers Knowledge of database optimization and administration Experience with Agile workflows (Jira, sprints) Used quality/security scanning tools (SonarQube, NexusIQ, Trivy) Deployed and troubleshot applications in Kubernetes clusters Managed secure container registries and applied image hardening Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) Used monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Applied security best practices and compliance requirements Certifications (Preferred): AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD Qualifications Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production systems Proficient with Linux/Unix (Rocky, RHEL, or similar) Skilled in Python or other modern languages (C/C++, Java) Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GovCloud, Azure, GCP) Strong Git version control skills Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication abilities CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Active TS clearance required; TS/SCI preferred Platinum Global Talent Solutions is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals.
