Service Desk Technician

Our client, a prominent organization in the non-profit sector, is seeking a Service Desk Technician to join their team. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting end-users and remote users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Service Desk Technician Location: Washington, District Of Columbia Pay: $25.50/hour What's the Job? Provide level 2 technical assistance to end-users and remote users via phone, email, and walk-up support Track and document user issues, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and escalate issues as needed Support remote connection tools such as Citrix and SSL VPN Assist in user account management including creation, update, and removal Manage loaner devices and support deployment of software via automated systems What's Needed? 3-4 years of basic computer expertise 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Microsoft Windows 7/8, OSX, iOS, and Android platforms Associate's degree or higher in a related field Customer service experience and familiarity with ticketing systems What's in it for me?
