We are looking for a skilled repair person to undertake the upkeep and repair of mobile office units, both interior and exterior within our Modesto territory. This is a field position and will sometimes require an overnight stay. We'll rely on you to meet our quality standards for units to maintain the customer satisfaction that we strive for. In this role you will be doing electrical, HVAC and plumbing troubleshooting and repair along with carpentry work. Your goal is to drive service success that ensures customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability. To be successful, masterful hands and knowledge of the trades are an important part of your skillet. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and self-motivation is also key for being successful in this role. Identifying and remediating all types of dry rot. Completing full unit refurbishments, including custom modifications. Overseeing and training Level 1 and Level 2 Service Technicians. Installing new exterior doors, door hardware, and windows, restoring units to original configurations. Installing and replacing plumbing fixtures and components. Including waste and freshwater supply lines. Ability to diagnose and repair basic electrical issues. Skills/Qualifications: 3+ years verifiable experience working as a Carpenter, Foreman, or construction related Field/Customer Service representative with limited to no supervision. Clean driving abstract. Strong understanding and interpretation of factory drawings. Experience completing full unit refurbishments. Excellent leadership and training skills. Ability to add new exterior doors and windows, restoring units to original configurations. Proficient in installing complete coffee bars, counters, and other custom modifications. Understanding of electrical and plumbing schematics with the ability to perform standard testing, repair, and replacement. Working knowledge of mechanical electric control systems, HVAC Certification a plus. Maintain accurate materials inventory. Ability to complete field services as needed. Documented training experience for Level 1 and Level 2 Technicians. Physical Requirements: Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment. Working on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for extended periods. Lifting 50 pounds and carrying a minimum of 25 pounds for up to 250 feet unassisted. Working outdoors in all weather conditions. Working more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day.
