Position Type: Support Staff/Instructional Paraprofessional Date Posted: 1/27/2026 Location: Milton Elementary School The Milton School District is seeking an ABA Tutor for our Partner Program. The candidate should be a quick learner, a team player, and an effective communicator. We are searching for individuals who have a passion for special education and can connect with students and staff. Through our Partner Program, the Milton School District will train the successful applicant. The New England Center for Children (NECC) Partner Program housed at the Milton Elementary School is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and staff works under supervision from a Lead Teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). - Experience with ABA is a bonus but not required, as there will be formal and on-the-job training. - Staff report to the school administration, the NECC Lead Teacher, and the NECC Clinical Supervisor - This position is a full-year position including an extended school year (several weeks over the summer with shortened hours) - Staff will be expected to attend training that is provided free of charge to all staff. - Daily duties include ensuring students' safety, providing direct instruction in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio (including discrete trial, incidental teaching, and task analysis), assisting students in navigating their general education classes as appropriate, implementing written behavior plans, and collecting data on skills and behaviors throughout the day. - Weekly duties include summarizing and graphing data, participating in meetings and training, helping modify curriculum, and making materials for the student as necessary. - Other duties may include monitoring progress on IEP goals, meeting with the Lead Teacher to assess student progress, assisting with gathering information for progress reports, conducting any additional assessments, or making additional materials as prescribed by the Lead Teacher.
