Job Details Location: Waldorf, Maryland (20602) - SLP jobs in Maryland / Waldorf MD Setting: Hospital (on-site) Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel SLP Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: July 4, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8 Hour Days) Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 35 hours) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1920-$2060 Required Qualifications Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification or state license Minimum 1 year of professional SLP experience; hospital or acute care experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team Strong communication, clinical documentation, and organizational skills Current eligibility to work in the United States ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent preferred (if applicable) Primary Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (including dysphagia) in hospital patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions Perform bedside swallowing evaluations, dysphagia management, and appropriate referrals as needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Document patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and complete required clinical paperwork in a timely manner Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home programs, and strategies for continued care Why Join Our Team Meaningful hospital SLP work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment Opportunity to gain travel SLP experience in the Maryland/DC region Work in a community with easy access to Washington, D.C. amenities while enjoying suburban Waldorf living Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Waldorf, MD.
