DescriptionJob Title: Multimedia (Graphic) Designer Location: Saint Louis, MO Reports to: Creative Director Key Responsibilities:Design & Creation: Create original, high-quality designs for both print and digital advertising formats. This includes, but is not limited to: static billboards, digital, social media posts and multimedia digital advertisements. Develop original designs, utilizing images, typography, and overall composition to ensure designs are, legible, visually appealing and effective. Collaborate with the Creative Director and the client's Account Executive to understand client objectives and translate those into effective visual designs. Adapt and revise designs based on media type, client feedback and technical requirements for different formats and sizes. Billboard Production and Operation: Design and prepare artwork for print production and digital billboards, ensuring it is in the correct format, resolution, and size for each specific medium. Prepare and deliver final print files to vendors, ensuring all specifications and deadlines are met. Coordinate proofing with Account Executive to acquire final client approval before proceeding with production. Format and post approved digital billboard designs via our digital billboard scheduling platform. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Creative Director and other team members to ensure that designs meet client needs and align with overall creative direction, while meeting production and posting deadlines. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. Assist the creative team during the brainstorming and creative critique steps, offering ideas and solutions for executing or further improving advertising campaigns. Collaborate with other creative team members to share relevant skill proficiencies and offer assistance where needed and able. Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and keeping the Creative Director informed on the status of each project. Organize and maintain design files for easy access and efficient workflow. Schedule and maintain digital billboard advertising programs, including integration of dynamic content when required. Quality Control: Review and proof all designs to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality before submitting to clients or production. Ensure that all designs are created with a focus on concept quality, legibility, visual appeal, and adherence to branding requirements. Ongoing Learning & Innovation: Stay current with design trends, technology, and industry best practices to continually improve design output and creativity. Experiment with new techniques and technologies that could enhance the impact of outdoor advertising designs. RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work. Experience in designing for billboards, other outdoor advertising, or digital display advertising is a plus. Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Animate, etc.). Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for developing animated and interactive rich media designs. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout principles. Strong attention to detail and excellent visual problem-solving skills. Willingness to receive constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills: Proficiency producing HTML5 animated banner ads (Google Ads, programmatic platforms), including file optimization and click-through setup. Familiarity with design for large-format printing and outdoor advertising standards. Proficiency in video and audio editing. Experience in conceptualizing and producing designs for both print and digital mediums. Proficiency in AI image and design generation. Proficiency in AI video generation.
