For more information visit amkor.com. Position Summary: Amkor Technology, Inc. has an opening for Staff Engineer based at our Tempe, AZ office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy SAP-based ERP solutions; ensure system stability and drive continuous improvements through solution optimization and post-deployment monitoring. Lead detailed analysis and design activities within the SAP FICO system in close collaboration with the Amkor Finance team to deliver accurate and scalable finance solutions. Troubleshoot and diagnose SAP system issues; recommend and implement practical fixes, and execute structured testing scenarios internally and with end-users to validate changes. Create and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, design elements, and implementation processes to support system sustainability and facilitate knowledge transfer. Gather and document business requirements, create project specifications, configure system settings, conduct user training, support UAT, and oversee deployment activities. Collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams; advise business users on process design and SAP best practices to ensure consistent, integrated system usage. Manage execution of Finance projects and system enhancements, focusing on automation, process efficiency, and compliance; provide daily, month-end, and quarter-end support for corporate and factory users. Position is based out of the Tempe, Arizona HQ office but telecommuting is permitted on a case by case basis. Qualifications (Required): Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Employer will accept a foreign equivalent degree, or a combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree in the same or a closely related field. Experience Requirements: 60 months of experience in job offered, Technology Consultant II, Senior Software Engineer, Process Specialist, Process Executive - Operations, or closely related. Special Skills Requirements: Able to configure FI and its integration modules (FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-CO), utilizing the latest data migration and delivering a comprehensive solution for a seamless transition to SAP. Experience with leading System Integration Testing (SIT) for FI, and PS modules, including test case preparation and stakeholder coordination to meet functional requirements. Ability to configure complete inbound and outbound IDoc functionality across multiple integration systems to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange. Ability to collaborate with the XI/PI team to enable interfaces and resolve data inconsistencies or duplication issues across integrated systems. Experience with enhancing custom SAP programs such as Product costing, automated intercompany billing, company code enablement, and U.S. tax calculation using the Vertex tax engine. Ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions that align with stakeholder requirements. Must be certified as a SAP Certified Application Associate -SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates 1709 and SAP Certified Application Associate - Central Finance in SAP S/4HANA.
