Company: Wasatch Labs Job Description Develop and perform specialized quality assurance processes including managing company documents while ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice, and quality control processes. Responsibilities Essential Manage and control documents related to Quality, including but not limited to: Sample submission Obtain, inspect and prepare samples to contract laboratories and in house laboratory Create sample submission forms, and label and prepare samples for shipment Responsible for tracking ETA dates and extensions of testing reports Test results Enter testing results in ERP system Ensure all testing is within testing specifications Product Release Oversee releasing of raw materials and manufactured lots Enter expiration dates Document filing Monitor and maintain cleaning log Scan BPRs to company drive File controlled documents electronically and physically Maintain BPR and controlled document archives Documentation audits Conduct Batch audits on manufactured lots to ensure product meets quality standards and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices Create certificate of analysis and product certifications Create COA and COC for manufactured lots Maintain and send COA to customers Create Product certifications Maintain and send product certifications to customers Other duties as required by QA Management Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a scientific field of study preferred. 0-2 years experience in quality assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice or equivalent training Strong written, electronic, and oral communication skills. Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures. Comfortable with computer systems; word processing, spreadsheet, etc. Ability to work independently. Understand and adhere to GMP policies and procedures. Excellent problem solving, analyzing and resolving skills Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Attention to detail, critical thinking, effective organization skills Must be able to multi task Typical Physical Requirements Frequently involves light work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Involves a variety of physical activities including: Lifting, Feeling, Talking, Repetitive motions. Visual acuity required is the minimum standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminals, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, handling small parts, operation of simple machines, using measurement devices, assembling or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. This is a typical office or administrative environment.
