A growing cleanenergy manufacturing company is seeking a Process Chemist to support and optimize silicon solar cell production. This is a handson, onsite role working directly with process engineers to analyze materials, troubleshoot process issues, and improve product performance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field - 1-3 years of handson lab experience (industry or academic research) - Strong understanding of lab safety and hazardous chemical handling - Experience with analytical or materials characterization techniques - Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate findings to technical teams - Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including occasional offhours work Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Experience with silicon materials, semiconductors, or photovoltaic manufacturing - Exposure to minority carrier lifetime testing (QSSPC, microwave PCD) - Familiarity with XRF, ICPMS, EDS, or defect analysis techniques - Microscopy experience (optical or electron) - Understanding of how process chemistry impacts silicon performance and efficiency - Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
