This position oversees clinical operations, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and patient safety within the OR and perioperative departments. Ideal for a confident leader who can quickly assess operations, support teams, and maintain high standards of care. Responsibilities: Provide oversight of perioperative services, including OR and related departments Lead, organize, and manage daily department operations, staffing, and workflows Supervise staff orientation, ongoing training, competency validation, and performance evaluations Provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action in accordance with hospital policy Ensure safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care across all patient populations Coordinate nursing care throughout the perioperative continuum Maintain compliance with Title 22, OSHA, Life Safety Code, and Joint Commission standards Assist with development and monitoring of department budgets Lead process improvement initiatives and evaluate outcomes Requirements: Active California RN license BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required) Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent Minimum 5 years RN experience, including at least 2 years as a circulating RN in Surgery Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience (strongly preferred) CNOR certification (preferred) Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment Ability to supervise, delegate, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Client DetailsAddress 300 Canal Street City King City State CA Zip Code 93930
