Accounting clerk

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk in Prospect, CT, for a role that goes beyond basic AP/AR. You'll be the 'source of truth' for the company's financial data-managing daily timesheet reporting, calculating sales commissions, and performing deep-dive shipping audits. If you have experience with Esti-track or Hennings and love the precision of job costing, we want to talk to you salary: $22 - $23 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Data Integrity: Execute daily timesheet reporting to ensure labor hours were accurately tracked for payroll and project costing. Maintain comprehensive daily and monthly master spreadsheets to track all operational financial activity. Accounts Payable (AP) & Expense Management: Perform daily three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receipts prior to data entry. Reconcile and balance corporate credit card expenses, ensuring proper coding and documentation. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Cash Management: Monitor bank portals daily to pull receivables and accurately apply cash to outstanding customer accounts. Manage the full-cycle collections process, professionally following up on past-due accounts to improve cash flow. Specialized Tracking & Analysis: Calculate and balance sales commissions, ensuring sales teams were paid accurately based on performance metrics.
