Maintenance Technician

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician for a client located in Northvale, New Jersey. This is a contract assignment with the potential for extension based on business needs. Pay: $30.00 per hour Schedule: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Summary The Temporary Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the upkeep, troubleshooting, and improvement of electromechanical systems used in production environments. This role focuses on maintaining equipment that integrates mechanical components with electrical controls-such as automated machinery, robotics, and factory systems. The Technician will also assist with general facility maintenance as needed while demonstrating accountability, teamwork, and integrity. Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair issues within existing electromechanical systems, including failure analysis and system updates • Integrate mechanical and electrical components, including wiring, sensor/actuator installation, and control system programming • Create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, tests, repairs, and modifications • Perform routine facility maintenance as required • Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency and equipment reliability • Ensure work complies with relevant industry standards and safety regulations • Manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail • Other duties may be assigned Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with electromechanical systems • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electromechanical engineering and mobility • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities • Effective communication and teamwork skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Strong commitment to quality and detail • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
