Job Title: Die Maintenance Skilled TradeCompany: Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc.Department: Die MaintenanceLocation: Clinton, TNPosition Summary Maintains all aspects of the dies to ensure the quality of cast components. Position Responsibilities The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: Lifts using hoist or crane. Cleans dies using pressure washer. Polishes grinds, and finish core insert. Measures die parts using metric scale. Performs layout according to design specifications. Disassembles and assembles die parts. Fits die using handwork technique. Uses pipe threader to cut and thread pipe. Wires limit switches. Applies Sparktron coding. Completes daily reports of all die repair content. Completes Preventative Maintenance check sheet. Fabricates any needed items. Operates milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders. Other duties may be assigned. Beneficial Skills and Experience Die Maintenance experience Welding experience Education/Training/Certifications One year certificate from college or technical school, or two (2) to four (4) years experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel Requirements Approximately 0 % Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
