Registered Nurse (RN) PACU

Job Description Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a Full Time experienced PACU RN. Full Time: 30 hours/week: Monday-Friday 3x12 hour shifts on week and 2x12 shifts the following week OR 3x10 shifts per week to cover 6a-10.30p; shift hours will vary. On-call coverage required with on-call shifts, weekend and holidays. Inova's Perianesthesia Nurses work both PreOp and Recovery to include phase 1 and phase 2 recovery. Located in western Fairfax County, IFOH's Pre-op has 20 bay unit that runs from 0545-1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from 0730-2230 daily M-F offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement; retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We perform over 10,000 surgical cases annually using some of the most advanced technology such as Stryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation. Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BLS healthcare provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at start RN PACU Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of PACU or critical care nursing (ICU or ED).
