Job Title: Mobile Quality Engineer - Team Lead Location: Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA (Remote until office space available) OR Birmingham, AL (3 days onsite) Duration: 9-Month Contract to HireJob Summary We are seeking a Mobile Quality Engineer - Team Lead to join the Mobile Banking team. This role requires a senior-level professional with strong expertise in mobile test automation, manual testing, performance engineering, and overall quality engineering for native mobile applications. The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts for Android and iOS native applications and ensure high-quality delivery within a fast-paced banking environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee quality engineering initiatives for mobile banking applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for native mobile applications. Perform manual, automated, and performance testing for Android and iOS platforms. Develop and execute API testing strategies, particularly for .NET-based services. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases. Implement and maintain test management and reporting using qTest. Execute automated tests using tools such as Sauce Labs for cross-device testing. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for native mobile apps (not hybrid). Mentor and guide QA engineers while promoting best practices in quality engineering and automation. Identify defects, track issues, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Required Technical Skills Strong experience in Mobile Quality Engineering / Test Automation. Experience testing native mobile applications on Android and iOS. Proficiency with mobile programming languages: Swift (iOS) Kotlin (Android) Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks: XCUI Test (iOS) Espresso (Android) Experience with qTest for test management. Experience with Sauce Labs or similar device/cloud testing platforms. Strong experience in .NET API testing. Scripting experience for automation and testing workflows. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (mandatory) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Banking or financial services domain experience is required. Proven experience leading QA or quality engineering efforts for mobile applications. Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, manual testing, and performance testing methodologies. Preferred Skills Experience building scalable automation frameworks. Strong understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing. Leadership experience guiding or mentoring QA engineers.
