The Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs hires lifeguards, swim instructors and front gate attendants to work at the Community Pool each summer. LIFEGUARDS AND SWIM INSTRUCTORS - All applicants must be at least 15 years of age with the required certifications. Interested candidates must apply online HERE. Applications may be submitted prior to certification and early application is encouraged. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Lifeguard/AED/CPR certification and verification of swim skills by pool management.
