Job Title: Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator 2nd Shift Location: Hamilton, OH 45011 Pay Rate: $25/hr ($22 base + $3 shift differential) Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM Overview The Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator is responsible for setting up and operating swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. This role requires adherence to ISO requirements, safety procedures, and quality specifications while maintaining efficient production and proper machine setup. The position is not trainable and requires prior swiss or lathe setup experience or related education. Job Specifications Set up and operate swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines Load bar stock, fill machine fluids, and remove chips from machines Perform tooling changes and make adjustments to maintain specification compliance Ensure all parts meet quality standards and production requirements Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and performing basic maintenance support Assist in training other employees on machine setup and operation as needed Maintain housekeeping standards and keep the work area clean and organized Follow all ISO requirements, safety protocols, and company procedures Qualifications Minimum of 1 year prior swiss setup or lathe setup experience or swiss/lathe-related education required High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and understand instructions, schematics, and machine drawings Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills required Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Ability to bend, push, and lift over 30 pounds Ability to work in both hot and cold manufacturing environments Benefits: • Health insurance • Health savings account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible spending accounts • Life insurance • Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
