About Our Client My client is a privately held engineering company is a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced test systems used across the aerospace and industrial sectors. The organization specializes in creating highperformance test cells and test stands that integrate mechanical systems, electrical systems, data acquisition, and automated controls. Job Description The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will: Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and controls for rotating machinery test equipment and custom test solutions. Perform handson troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system commissioning across electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces. Create and revise electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and documentation to support system build and integration. Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers on multidisciplinary projects. Support build, test, and validation efforts involving pumps, sensors, instrumentation, PLCbased systems, hydraulic/pneumatic components, waterflow systems, and VFDdriven motor assemblies. Apply knowledge of physical sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, force) and industrial instrumentation in system development. Manage engineering tasks across multiple concurrent projects while supporting production and field needs. Travel to customer sites for commissioning, troubleshooting, or installation as required (primarily domestic). The Successful Applicant The successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer should have the following qualifications: 3+ years of handson electrical engineering experience Experience with at least one of the following: Pumps or waterflow systems PLCs or industrial controls Sensors and instrumentation Hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid systems VFDs, motors, or power electronics Ability to read and generate electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Comfort working in a smaller environment where responsibilities span design, troubleshooting, programming, and project support. Experience in aerospace, test environments, material handling, or similar industries is helpful. Ability to travel as needed for customer support.
