Small CNC Mills Machinist (2nd SHIFT)

Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist (Small CNC Mills) Location: Valencia, CA Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) | 1 Opening (Overtime required during the week and weekends as needed) Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE Position Overview Seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with experience operating small CNC milling machines to produce precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing setups, making minor program edits, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Essential Duties Set up and operate small CNC mills (3-axis/4-axis preferred) Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and planning Select and install tooling; set offsets, speeds, and feeds Perform minor program edits and prove out new or revised programs Machine parts to close tolerances and customer specifications Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments Record inspection and production data accurately Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain clean work area Collaborate with Engineering and Quality as needed Qualifications U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR required) High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of recent CNC milling experience (small parts preferred) Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Experience with tooling selection, offsets, and program adjustments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Aerospace or MRO background Experience with tight-tolerance machining Familiarity with inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges)
